Getting Kids Out of their Comfort Zone and Building Confidence. Through Impov Comedy, Readers Theater, & Short Scene Writing students engage and strengthen so many skills, all while having fun.
Students as early as Preschool learn tech skills. They will learn the basics of computers, how to use the keyboard, mouse, how to print and play fun educational games. Beginning at 1st grade kids will explore the basics of coding, video game design, and loads of other tech topics to help them become not just tech savvy but tech ready. That means teaching responsible use of technology and ethics as well.
When kids engage in art they get to express themselves in a variety of ways. Junior Picasso focuses on helping students create art with mostly recycled materials, while also learning about key methods, famous artist that have made an impact on the world, and of course having fun. In these classes everyone is a Junior Picasso.
Students work in groups to create a business from start to finish. Learning key concepts of what it takes to be an entrepreneur. In the end they open up shop, part of the money they earn goes to charity and part they use towards a party to celebrate their success. We believe that no matter what path a person takes its always great to have entrepreneurial skills.
We want to help raise eager readers. Invite us out for a free interactive and fun 20 minute story time, followed by a quick chat with your kids about the importance of reading. We usually do these on "We Should Read Wednesdays."
